The McGraw-Hill Building is slated for demolition by developer John Buck to be redeveloped
as a retail complex leading to a Nordstrom Department Store on Rush Street.
Fortunately the McGraw-Hill Building received preliminary landmark designation by the City Department of Planning in June. It was also declared eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
Support the landmark designation drive for this historic building along with adaptive-use along Michigan Ave by filling out this form which will send email
to Chicago's Mayor Richard M. Daley.
